Destination clients are my favorite, they see the beauty of the Inland Northwest and realize it is the perfect place for their wedding.
I worked with Betsy (who lived in Seattle, WA) and David (who lived in Moscow, ID) for over a year. Our primary communication was Skype calls, this is where the concepts for their wedding came together, throw in a few site visits and it was time to bring their vision to life. It was so much fun designing and planning their North Idaho wedding!
The Lodge at Sandpoint was the perfect place to host their guests that had traveled from all over the Midwest and the Southern part of the U.S. When it came to designing their wedding, Betsy and David said,”we are colorful people we want bright beautiful hues throughout the wedding” working with local farmer florist Beehaven flower farms we were able to bring together gorgeous blooms in every color, the bright colors were stunning under a white tent and the accent color of blue was perfect against the lake backdrop. The couple further personalized their wedding with a photo booth designed by the groom with a menu of delicious comfort food including the bride’s favorite macaroni and cheese. Instead of a cake an ooey gooey brownie with ice cream was served. All of the guests who came from near and far around the country had a wonderful time at this wedding on Lake Pend Orielle!
