Lake Coeur d’Alene // Tropical Glam Wedding in Idaho

When Lindey told me she wanted to bring tropical glam to Coeur d’Alene I was so excited. Her vision of large banana and palm leaves with gold, white and black accents was so unique. With the combination of tropical flavor, a wedding dress and tuxes that were off the runway, and a neon sign, it was like guests were transported to old Cuba on the banks of Lake Coeur d’Alene.

In addition to the fabulous décor and theme, Lindey and Tyler also made sure their guests (who all had traveled to this destination wedding) were treated to delicious food, a curated bar, favors, and a fun dance party from a Seattle DJ. I immensely enjoyed working with this savvy Seattle couple. The most dramatic element of the design was the head table, not only did the wedding party sit with the couple but so did the significant others of the wedding party, it was definitely a lively table!

One of the ways guests were honored and something I had never seen in my many years of wedding planning was a display of wedding invitations from Lindey and Tyler’s friends and family of weddings they had previously attended.

After seeing the pictures of this wedding, you will want to pour yourself a Cubra Libre with a huge squeeze of lime.
